In 1927 in Germany, a teacher of advertising graphics and typography at the Frankfurt art school, Paul Renner, gave birth to one of the most important typefaces in the history of modern typography, Futura. The Bauhaus's influence is evident. There are no frills or stylistic charms. Everything is based on geometric rules.
