Birrificio Angelo Poretti, Pack restyling
Outline the wide range of beers made by Birrificio Angelo Poretti, using the pack as a medium.

More than a beer: a brewery

Birrificio Angelo Poretti’s unique characteristic is all in its name: it’s a brewery that creates different beers, it’s a brand of beer that isn’t identifiable by just one single product. An extremely wide portfolio of beers, each with its own characteristic flavour, divided into consistent categories that should have been organised in a clearer fashion for the benefit of the consumers.

What sets apart each one of Birrificio Angelo Poretti’s beers is the number and quality of hops used in the recipe: the more varieties there are, the richer and more complex the flavour of the beer becomes.

The number of hop varieties shown on the label is also accompanied by a short text describing the flavour profile of the beer, with the back of the cluster pack becoming the space dedicated to showcasing the brewery’s wide portfolio and the characteristics of each beer.

A very detailed project that aims to standardise the look of Birrificio Angelo Poretti’s products, better differentiating the beer families and explaining the role of hops in the product range.

The wide range of products can be found inside the shop Birrificio Angelo Poretti. Here you can learn the characteristics of each product and try the quality of the beer.

Birrificio Angelo Poretti was founded in 1877 in Induno Olona, Valganna, a small valley in the province of Varese. In 2002, the brand was purchased in its entirety by Carlsberg Group, who revamped the historic original factory where production is still based, taking the brand from strength to strength.
