Background

Italia del Gusto is the first private consortium uniting Italian businesses in the food and wine sector that has taken on a mission of the diffusion of culinary tradition and Italian taste abroad. It is doing so by marketing Brands that are the most familiar ones in the lives of Italians.

Brand vision

The only element representing Italia del Gusto was the brand that on it’s own was not enough to communicate a strong identity. The focus on the Consortium’s identity has therefore brought to attention the need for creating a distinctive visual language in order to support and transmit Italia del Gusto’s personality and unique values.

Design solution

CB’a has developed a visual language for the Consortium Italia del Gusto that is able to guarantee recognition at each point of touch and to create a visual link among all the companies without harming their individual identities. By using overlapping shapes, the visual language is also able to communicate the nature of a unique identity which is typical for a consortium. At last, the visual language is able to communicate the richness of taste and tradition of Italian food thanks to the type of images and the choice of colors.
