Background

Effervescente Brioschi, born over 100 years ago, is still recognised as the refreshing thirst-quenching digestive aid by Manetti & Roberts. Thanks to its simple, natural, pleasant-tasting formula and its long market history, the Brand is actually perceived as traditional and effective at the same time.

Brand Vision

A study aimed at analysing barriers to usage of effervescent digestive aids revealed that some of those who don’t use it declared that one reason was not having the product to hand when they needed it; in other words, away from home. Brioschi seized this opportunity to develop the Brand by making the product pocket-size.

Design Solution

Starting from the need for a pocket-size product which was handy and appealing also for younger consumer target a new Brioschi bottle has been designed. The new shape and label are able to safeguard the product heritage and as well as the product’s innovativeness (in contrast with the Brand’s tradition) without moving too far away from the current visual image.

DESIGN

The inverted brand on the blue background improves shelf impact, in spite of the reduced size of the bottle.

The silver border enclosing the logotype communicates stature and premium value to the Brioschi Brand.

The illustration “set free” from the frame becomes a reference to the historic Brioschi label in a decidedly modern layout.
